Green means Go: Moving Forward Responsibly
In a recent poll by Global Market Insite, Inc., Americans chose damaging the environment as the main reason they would consider a company to be socially irresponsible. The poll also found that American consumers between the ages of 18 and 29 — future consumers - are more likely to buy organic, environmentally-friendly or fair trade products than other age groups.
This session at AGS University allowed attendees to learn about moving their business forward responsibly with green initiatives. The presenters covered who is taking the lead in environmental best practices and what it has meant to their business…as well as simple ways to apply those practices to other businesses. Presenters for this session were Richard Emerson of First State Paper and Jim Crowley of Appleton Coated Papers.
